This guided tour is about architecture in Jena. On a walk around the Westviertel quarter, you’ll learn all about the inspiration behind some of the area’s distinctive elements.
Between 1890 and 1930, impressive villas were built in a park-like landscape at the foot of Landgrafen hill. Designed by renowned architects and inhabited by the wealthy and the famous, they defined Jena in many ways for a long time. There will also be an opportunity to see some old hospital buildings and institutes.
